All the signs were there for a classic winter weekend session ..... strong winds and rain overnight with some swell about, then dropping and going a bit more cross shore and sun coming out. Temps nearly in double figures too.

Plan A was to get down to Posh early, but that went titsup as my dad popped round early to say hi and held up my departure ....

So, got to the beach as most were packing up. Went for the 104 Freewave and a 5.3m Ego, but probably should have gone for the 5.9m !!

Got planing straight off the beach, but as got 50m off the beach the waves stood up a bit, and the wind dropped off ..... so back in to the beach, tweak kit, and walk back upwind a gain ! RIP was on form as I'd missed the falling tide due to late arrival, and now had the incoming tide and it's RIP punishing me.

Had a few runs out and back, never venturing far, and frequently hitting a lull right as the waves were folding and having to do a U-turn !!

Pretty crap session, apart from the fact that it was nice and sunny, and not too cold, which made a really nice change from recent weather we've had.

Hoping for better tomorrow !!!
